The Round Window is a “widescreen” rock band from North Essex, creating music that is influenced by acoustic, classic, melodic and progressive styles. The band has a core of Jack Lock on drums and vocals, Rich Lock on vocals and Thomas Lock on keyboards and vocals - this familial trio has been the central part of the band since formation in 2019.

The band has two albums to its name, the eponymous debut released in 2022 and Everywhere & Nowhere in 2023. An EP, featuring additional guest players Robin Armstrong (Cosmograf), Gareth Cole (The Bardic Depths), Alistair Martin (Cosmograf) and Per Malmberg (Salva) is scheduled for release in November 2024.

A debut live performance was recently undertaken in support of EBB and a headline show to support the release of the new EP is scheduled at The Three Wise Monkeys, Colchester on 29th December 2024 with Hats Off Gentlemen It’s Adequate opening - tickets are available here.

A further festival date - to be confirmed - will be taking place in 2025 and updates on other live appearances will appear here.

Past members of the band, appearing on the first two albums, were David Brazington and Dietmar Schantin. The band is currently seeking permanent players for bass and guitar and we hope to update with news as soon as we’ve got the right personnel on board.
